Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Get Over collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information across the website.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Who is responsible for your data

Get Over is responsible for the personal information processed through this website. For privacy questions or data-rights requests, contact us at Adam@victoryprowrestling.co.uk.

What information we collect

  • Account details, such as your name, username, email address, password hash, role, and login/session information.
  • Talent profile information, such as ring name, location, roles, experience, biography, images, video links, social links, and any profile content you choose to publish.
  • Promoter and organisation information, such as promotion names, public show details, shortlisted talent, reviews, and dashboard activity. Some historical records from retired booking and opportunity tools may remain stored.
  • Messages and message metadata, including sender, recipient, timestamps, read state, deletion state, blocks, reports, and security events. Message bodies are encrypted at rest.
  • Technical and security information, such as IP address, browser/device details, cookies, form submissions, rate-limit events, and audit logs needed to protect the service.
  • Support and moderation information if you contact us, report a message, or ask us to investigate a safety issue.

Why we use your information

Purpose Examples Likely lawful basis
Provide website accounts and profiles Creating accounts, publishing profiles, logging in, and viewing profile pages. Contract, legitimate interests, and consent where you choose to publish optional content.
Connect talent and promoters Search, shortlists, saved searches, reviews, public events, and dashboards. Historical booking or opportunity records may be retained. Contract and legitimate interests.
Private messaging Sending messages, unread counts, conversation lists, blocks, reports, abuse prevention, and message retention. Contract and legitimate interests in operating a safe communication platform.
Safety, moderation, and fraud prevention Rate limits, explicit-language checks, report handling, security logs, investigation of abuse, and enforcing website rules. Legitimate interests and legal obligation where applicable.
Legal and administrative obligations Responding to data-rights requests, disputes, legal claims, and compliance checks. Legal obligation and legitimate interests.

Private messages and safety

Private messages are intended for professional conversation only. Do not share banking details, passwords, private identity documents, or sensitive personal information through the website. We use encryption at rest for message bodies, limit how quickly messages can be sent, block certain explicit language, and allow users to block, report, and clear conversations.

When a message is reported, we store the reported message and related metadata so the issue can be reviewed. We do not use private messages for marketing.

Profile analytics

We count profile visits and provide aggregate information such as totals, general referral source, device category, and whether a visitor used a promoter account. Talent and promoters are not shown the identity of individual profile visitors.

Daily analytics history is limited to 90 days. Short-lived salted visitor fingerprints may be used to avoid counting the same visitor repeatedly, but raw fingerprints are not shown to users.

We also keep aggregate 90-day product counts, such as workspace visits, seller applications, products created, ticket activity, and experimental-feature use. These product counts do not contain user identifiers.

Who we share information with

Profile information you publish can be visible to other users and visitors depending on the profile and feature settings. Public events and their ticket details may be shown on Get Over. Historical booking and opportunity records remain subject to the retention terms below.

We may share limited information with service providers that help host, secure, email, back up, or maintain the website. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to investigate misuse of the platform.

How long we keep information

  • Account and profile information is kept while your account or profile remains active, unless a longer period is needed for legal, safety, or dispute reasons.
  • Private messages and message security logs are automatically retained for up to 365 days unless they need to be kept longer for a report, safety review, legal claim, or dispute.
  • Daily profile analytics history is retained for up to 90 days. Aggregate lifetime totals may remain attached to a profile.
  • Reports, booking records, agreements, and moderation records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to protect users, evidence decisions, handle disputes, and meet legal obligations.
  • Backups may keep deleted information for a limited period until the backup cycle replaces them.

Your rights

Depending on the situation, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a request, email Adam@victoryprowrestling.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Cookies and security

The website uses cookies and similar technologies for login sessions, account security, forms, preferences, analytics if enabled, and normal WordPress functionality. You can control cookies through your browser, but some account features may not work correctly without essential cookies.

International transfers

Some hosting, email, analytics, or technical service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards should be used where required by data protection law.

Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
